  • Medical assessments and BHRT Therapy (bioidentical hormone therapy) by a licensed medical professional in AZ, NV, and UT
    • BHRT- bioidentical hormone replacement therapy that refers to exogenous hormones that are biochemically (derived from plants) similar to those produced in the female and male sexual organs. BHRT is widely regarded as the best treatment for hormone imbalances and age-related hormone changes. By compensating for your body’s diminished hormone levels, HRT can restore balance and minimize—or eliminate—hormone-related symptoms. But as with any medical treatment, it’s important to weigh the pros and cons of BHRT to determine if it’s the right path for you.

    •  A decreased risk of breast cancer and uterine cancer.
    • Less bloating and bleeding.
    • Beneficial results in cardiovascular health, such as the decreased risk of blood clots, maintaining proper HDL cholesterol levels, and protection against the hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis).

  • CONS
    • potential side effects can include headaches, mood changes, sleep disruptions, irritability, nausea, bloating, hair loss, and skin irritation related to topical administrations. However, most side effects are mild and dose-dependent, which means your practitioner may be able to fine-tune dosage to improve tolerability. Breast cancer and cardiovascular risks.
  • The amount of time it takes for bioidentical hormones to work varies. Some people may feel mild relief within a few weeks. Most of the time, it takes about three months to feel the full effect of any type of hormone therapy.
  • The bioidentical hormones that are approved by the FDA have been tested for safety. They have passed the FDA’s strict standards and are safe for people to use. Like all hormone treatments, there are risks involved. You should weigh the pros and cons of even the FDA-approved bioidentical hormones with your healthcare provider.
  • Do bioidentical hormones really work?
    • Yes, they work for some people. You will have different results depending on your symptoms and health history. Talk with your healthcare provider about bioidentical hormones and what form may work best for you. In some cases, your healthcare provider may recommend against using bioidentical hormones in favor of a more traditional hormone replacement therapy option.

  • Affordable counseling is provided weekly and/or biweekly per one of our Associate level Counselors (Arizona only) beginning January/February 2023  $70-$90/hour
  • Individual Mental Health Therapy (Arizona residents only) $165/hour or $82.50/30-minute addition
  • BHRT treatment, bloodwork, and functional assessment $125/60 min or $187.50/90 min assessment

Semaglutide is a modified molecule our bodies make, called a GLP-1 analog. It works by increasing insulin production and lowering glucagon secretion as well as targeting areas in the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. A small change in the molecule allows the drug to last weeks in our bodies rather than the natural version our bodies make, which lasts minutes. Originally used for diabetes and sold under the name Ozempic®. In June 2021, Wegovy, brand name Semaglutide, was FDA-approved for weight loss.

  • Delays how quickly our stomachs digest food. Leading to a feeling of fullness and satisfaction with smaller meal sizes. 
  • Slows intestinal motility so you will feel fuller longer after meals. 
  •  Lowers blood sugars, in part by reducing the production of sugar in the liver.
  • Stimulates insulin secretion by the pancreas.
  • **This medication is not insulin and should not be used if you have type 1 diabetes or if you develop diabetic ketoacidosis. Semaglutide should not be used with any other GLP-1 medications. RISK OF THYROID C−CELL TUMORS. If you or any family members have been diagnosed with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2 or Medullary thyroid cancer you should not take Semaglutide. If you have ever had pancreatitis consult with your medical provider as using Semaglutide can increase the risk of developing pancreatitis.
